Fruit Bowl Apocalypse

A fire engine sits in a fruit bowl
PAUSE….
With a sinking ship banana.
An elderly face with reindeer moss eye liner.
An apricot head that disappears below the horizon.
An empty space in an empty time.

Adam and Eve salt and pepper pots decide to wear clothes.
While an apple makes a post box blush.
The man with electricity pylon legs dances with a tree.
The blank piece of paper fans a message.
The world is a burning bowl of fruit.
PAUSE….
