Sat In A Waiting Room

SAT IN A WAITING ROOM

Chicken flowered meadows
Forms shrouded with sounds
Calling like a knife cut
Words merged with hills
Trees with coffered hair
Colours transformed by solitude
My day arranged like chairs

Waiting in line with dragon tails
Burning voice written signatures
Flames are faces
With eyes turned away

Talk is expensive

Still waiting with owl feathered arms
Words on ice make melting grammar
The ogre sits
On the ogress chair

Silence is cheap

crowd-cacophony
